REBECCA ANELOSKI

Choreographer

Rebecca is a Colorado native and performing artist and choreographer living in Salt Lake City. 


Rebecca created And Artists in 2018 as a way to tell stories, collaborate, and research movement alongside a selected group of professional dancers living in Salt Lake City. She acts as lead choreographer, director, and friend to this collective.

She graduated from the University of Utah with her M.F.A in Modern Dance and was the recipient of the L. Scott Marsh Mentorship Award in 2017. She was awarded the winner of Professional and Emerging Choreographer by New Century Dance Project in 2019. She worked as faculty for the University of Utah School of Dance and Weber State University. Shes hopes to continue her research as an educator in the future. 

As a dance artist, Rebecca has performed in works by Dominic Walsh, Melonie Murray, Nick Blaylock, Florian Alberge, Eric Handman, Katie Scherman, Brendan Duggan, Joni McDonald, Gustavo Ramiez Sansano, Alice Klock, Banning Bouldin, and Navarra Novy-Williams and most recently as the Libra in SONDERImmersive's Thank You Theobromine.


As a choreographer, Rebecca continues to build work with her dance collective And Artists and additionaly has been commisioned by Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company, SALT Contemporary Dance's LINK festival, Weber State University, Oquirrh West Project, SONDERimmersive, and most recently in creating a new work for Repertory Dance Theater in their 2021 Season.
