RACHEL MILLER

Performer

Rachel Miller was born and raised in Billings, Montana where she discovered her love of dance at the age of twelve. Recently, she graduated from Utah Valley University as the first student to earn a BFA in Dance with a Ballet and Modern Dance dual major. While at UVU, Rachel had the pleasure of performing as a guest artist with Repertory Dance Theater and Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company as well as working with esteemed choreographers Mike Esperanza, WHYTEBERG, LajaMartin, Daniel Charon, Courtney Mazeika, Brooklyn Draper, Carl Flink, Andy Noble, and several of UVU’s incredible faculty and students. In addition, Rachel was one of only two students ever selected to perform Ekstasis, a vibrant solo originally choreographed by Martha Graham and reimagined by Virginie Mécène. Since graduating Rachel has danced with Fem Dance Company and Creators Dance Project and is thrilled for her first season dancing with Oquirrh-West. In her free time she loves playing with her dog Watson, enjoying the outdoors, finding new places to eat, and pretty much anything she can do curled up in a warm blanket.
