LAUREN (LO) MORRISON

Performer

Lauren (Lo) Morrison started dancing at the Los Olivos Dance Gallery in Los Olivos, CA at the age of four. Lo has been accepted to numerous summer dance intensives and workshops and has attended the Idyllwild Summer Intensive Dance Program, the Radio City Music Hall Rockette Summer Intensive, the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Ballet West, ArtEmotion choreographic workshop, Repertory Dance Theatre, Ate9, and Lines Contemporary Ballet Summer Programs. Lo worked as an understudy for the Nebula Dance Lab in the premiere of “Holocene” choreographed by Edgar Zendejas in 2017. In 2019, Lo danced with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in their International Dance Trainee Program in Ga’aton, Israel. Recently, Lo worked with SALT Contemporary Dance in their Pre-Professional Training Company. In 2021, Lo graduated from the University of Utah with a BFA in Modern Dance and a BS in Psychology. While attending the University of Utah, Lo performed in the department’s Performing Dance Company in 2018 in collaboration with Sara Pickett and in 2019 in collaboration with Satu Hummasti, as well as, the School of Dance’s Gala Performance in 2021 in collaboration with Eric Handman. Lo was selected to represent the department and perform at the American Collegiate Dance Association in 2020, and was the recipient of the Dee R. Winterton Award.
