Kalin, Pheonix, Arizona native, began his eclectic training at a young age. After leaving the studio and convention model and obtaining his GED, he began working collaboratively with companies in Los Angeles and Pheonix. At this time, Kalin was also attending Scottsdale community college. There he worked with artists such as Katherin Alter, Chad Micheal Hall, Joy Davis, and Holly Johnston. His nomadic life has allowed him the opportunity to work with Salt II Contemporary Dance, Flux Flow Project, Urban Tribe, TedTed Performance Group while continuing to produce and showcase his choreographic work. Kalin aims to make movement practices and performance as regular and available as breathing for all interested in engaging. He is in his first season with OWP and is grateful to have space to make much-needed art.
