HARLIE HEISERMAN

Performer

Harlie Heiserman grew up dancing in the D.C. metropolitan area. After receiving their GED in 2016, they relocated to study at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Summer Lee Rhatigan. Over the course of two wonderful years, Harlie had the opportunity to practice improvisation under Christian Burns and Alessio Silvestrin and perform works by Ohad Naharin, Bobbi Jene Smith, Tom Weinberger, and Alex Ketley. Following San Francisco, Harlie moved to London where they attended the London Contemporary Dance School. Harlie has spent summers at various programs including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Salt Contemporary Dance’s LINK festival, and Ate9 Dance. As a performer, Harlie is currently dancing with Salt2 of SALT Contemporary Dance and Oquirrh West Project. Harlie was recently awarded first place at SALT Contemporary Dance’s SHAPE Choreography Festival for their improvisational score, “Excerpts from Tuesday.”
