AUDITIONS

We are excited to announce open auditions for our 2022-2023 season!

We are excited to be holding auditions in person this year! Please email a current CV, headshot, potential rehearsal availability and optional video reel to info@owproject.org BEFORE the audition, no later than Friday May 27. There will be a $15 audition fee that can be paid in cash or via venmo to @owproject in advance or during check-in at the audition. If you are unable to pay the audition fee, please contact us.

Video sumissions are also being accepted. Please email a current CV, headshot, potential rehearsal availability along with your audition reel to info@owproject.org no later than Friday June 3. 

Your video should include the following:

• Ballet (can film an entire class, but please at least include the following combinations: barre: plie, tendu, deggage, rond de jambe, and fondu cener: adagio, turning comnimation, petite allegro, grand allegro
• Contemporary combination
• Contemporary improvisation work
• Contemporary phrasework of your creating
• Performance footage (highly encouraged, but not required)

Our season is currently planned to begin September 2022 and go through the end of March 2023 (with weeks off periodically). Rehearsal times for the season are built around the dancers' schedules and space availability. Typically these rehearsals happen 3 times a week in 3-5 hour blocks. Company positions available will be paid for the Spring performance only (not including rehearsals). The amount offered to each company member varies and is based on their tenure with OWP. Apprentice positions with the company are tuition based at $700 for the season with sponsorship opportunities, talent, and/or need-based scholarships available to help cover costs. Oquirrh West Project is a new, fresh, and growing company. As such, we are interested in individuals who are not only looking to dance with us, but also willing to actively engage in work to assist its growth.
