Hi, I'm Andre. Thanks for reading this.

If I wasn't a human I'd want to be a hummingbird or a tugboat. I was raised on the traditional homelands of the Coast Salish and Duwamish peoples. I grew up dancing at the Pacific Northwest Ballet, then went to the Lines Ballet Training Program and Hubbard Street's Professional Program. I met a lot of lovely people that I hope to dance with again someday. I try to remain in a constant state of processing - applying my lived experiences to my work and an artistic lens to my life - which isn't anything new but I think it's nice to be intentional about. I'm especially interested in movement that is rooted in resisting forces of oppression.
